Furrajna Folk Combo is available as accordion and guitar duo or trio with mandolin/percussive instruments.
What is 'Furrajna'? Pronounced "Foor-ray-nah", it refers to barley cut when still green as fodder for cattle. Maltese folk music has it's roots deeply entrenched to life on the farm. Furrajna Folk Combo preserves the authenticity of traditional music by playing it live and keeping loyal to the roots.
Furrajna Folk Combo can play instrumentals while strolling (moving around guests). This permits a more intimate connection where the guests can have a close up view of the instruments being played and interact with the musicians in various ways.
When set up on stage or in a single location, Furrajna Folk Combo can perform amplified and singing is also available in addition to the instruments.
